We maintain an ongoing search for the most common types of professionals requested by our customers. Those positions include:
- Project Manager
A project manager leads projects by providing overall accountability, oversight, and management of project team, deliverables, and activities. Project managers facilitate joint application design (JAD) workshops; analyze business and technical requirements; develop detailed schedules and plans; oversee of work plan progress; identify and manage risks; and allocate staff resources as needed. Certification as a PMI Project Management Professional is a plus.
- Business Analyst
A business analyst facilitates the definition of business and systems requirements using a JAD approach; develops process and data models; prepares solution options and financial analysis (e.g., cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build); understands structured system analysis and development methodologies; identifies and manages risks; creates test plans; and conducts user acceptance testing. Experience developing in an agile environment is a plus.
- Systems Integrator
A systems integrator coordinates major development projects using portions of existing systems or databases in the process of developing a new system. They assess the strengths, weaknesses, and risks associated with each system or data source and then optimize integration into a cohesive final product.
- Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Analyst
An IV&V analyst conducts in-depth analyses, reviews, and tests to verify the quality of engineering and validate that the product, service, or system meets customer requirements, specifications, and original intent. The IV&V analyst documents findings and recommendations in formal reports for project sponsors, promotes early detection of project variances, and provides context (e.g.., the priority, probability, and impact severity) for each finding.
- Other common IT positions
SourceMatch is also interested in professional database architects, data warehouse architects, enterprise architects, security analysts, security architects, technical writers, and others with experience with data modeling, quality assurance, and testing.
